Fire Marshal Personnel

At First Response Scotland, our Fire Marshals are trained to help prevent, identify and respond to fire related incidents at events, workplaces and public venues. Their role is to reduce risk, ensure compliance with fire safety procedures and act quickly if an emergency occurs.

What does a Fire Marshal do?

Our Fire Marshals work closely with venue Fire Wardens and Fire Marshals to help ensure events run safely and efficiently. Whether providing full fire safety cover or supporting an exisiting venue team, our personnel can seamlessly integrate into your emergency procedures. We are able to take responsibility for fire safety duties on behalf of venue staff when required or coordinate alongide them using our pre-planned emergency procedures, the venue's exsiting fire plans or a combination of both. This collaborative approach helps maintain effective communication, clear evacutation procedures and a safe environment for everyone in attendance.

Our Fire Marshals Provide:

Fire risk monitoring through your event or venue.

Immediate response to fire alarms and fire related incidents.

Initial firefighting using portable extinguishers where it is safe and appropriate.

Evacuation management, including directing occupants to designated asembly points.

Monitoring and maintaining clear emergency exits and escape routes.

Routine fire safety inspections and hazard reporting.

Liaison with venue management and the emergency services when required.

Identification of potential fire hazards before they become incidents.
